Three weeks ago I started to photograph everything I ate. At the end of the first week I made a photo-mosaic and took a good look at what I had really eaten rather than what I thought I’d eaten. It was a real eye-opener.
This is what I ate for the first week:

I was surprised at just how often I visited the calorie table for ‘just a little bit of cake’ or ‘just one biscuit – I’ve been good all day’.
More surprising was the size of the portions I was serving myself, even when the food was healthy the portions were not.
